Legend has it that Lisbon, just like Rome, originated among seven hills, hence its being known as the “City of Seven Hills”. Each hill provides a fantastic viewpoint with an endless horizon that you will undoubtedly want to photograph. This tour allows you to discover some of the highest points of Lisbon, where you will find amazing and unmatched views, such as the Nossa Senhora do Monte Viewpoint or the Graça Viewpoint, whose official name is Miradouro Sophia de Mello Breyner Andersen in honour of the distinguished Portuguese poet who spent many days admiring Lisbon from here. As one of Lisbon’s most romantic outlooks, with its garden that is home to various busts of Portuguese gods and heroes, the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara is another not-to-be-missed stop of this tour.

You will also get to know Alfama, one of Lisbon’s oldest and most typical neighbourhoods; the Praça do Comércio (also known as Terreiro do Paço), one of the largest squares in Europe, facing the Tagus river; and the iconic Eduardo VII park, offering 25 hectares of green leisure space right in the middle of the capital. Its highlights include the 25 de Abril monument, the Amália Rodrigues garden, the Estufa Fria greenhouse and the view towards the Tagus river and Lisbon’s lower town, Baixa Pombalina.

Gather up to six friends or relatives and come with us to discover some of the most important outlooks and tourist sites in Lisbon. This Lisbon Hills tour takes two hours, during which our drivers/guides will make you feel like a true inhabitant of Lisbon!
