In this tour you’ll be able to explore the other side of Guimarães, the side that’s filled with crisp pure air, singing birds and wild adventures.
You’ll start by making your way to Monte da Penha, along with this journey you’ll pass by the Guimarães Wall, Condessa Mumadona Statue and Paço dos Duques de Bragança. After you arrive, you’ll visit Santuário da Penha, a religious symbol of great importance in Guimarães, and enjoy the wonderful views over the city that this viewpoint offers. After you’ve had your breath taken away by the panoramic view, you’ll return to Guimarães’s historical centre through the Natural Park, a green space that stretches over fifty hectares of land with an amazing diversity of wildlife, creepy caves, viewpoints and little chapels. When you arrive at the historical centre, before the tour ends, you’ll still get to see Largo da República do Brasil Garden located in front of the famous Church of Nossa Senhora da Consolação e dos Santos Passos. The tour will finish with a photo next to the Guimarães Wall, the place where Portugal was born.
Come to explore the other side of Guimarães! For one hour, you and your friends or family will have the time of your lives while your driver and tour guide shares with you little bits and pieces of information about Guimarães, the birth city of Portugal.
