Driver tips

Madrid is noted for its streets framed by fine buildings and palaces that blend history with modernity. Its huge squares, surrounded by bars and outdoor cafés, invite you to savour the local cuisine and to travel with the sound of spicy tunes. Neighbourhoods full of colour and life, a garden with a fantastic view and the largest theatre in Madrid are some of the experiences that this tour will offer you.

Hortaleza, La Latina and Las Letras, as well as Sevilla street, are all genuine neighbourhoods that will allow you to get to know Madrid in a unique way and connect with the lifestyle of the locals. These neighbourhoods full of life preserve the partying character of the city’s inhabitants, and are the high points of this tour. But we have many other things to show you: you will be dazzled by the Plaza Dos de Mayo, a square surrounded by indoor and outdoor cafés, that make it ideal for having a snack, whether with friends or with family; or perhaps you will fall under the spell of Plaza de la Paja, a square perfect for relaxing on the hottest days. To make sure that you truly soak up the soul of Madrid, we will of course take you to visit the San Miguel market, where you will be regaled with Spanish cuisine; the Las Vistillas garden, famous for its popular festivals and for its fantastic views; and the beautiful Teatro Real, Madrid’s royal opera house.

Gather up to four friends or relatives and explore with us some of Madrid’s characteristic neighbourhoods and fantastic outdoor cafés that will not only guarantee a fun experience of the Spanish capital, but will also give you the chance to get to know the customs and ways of the locals. Our local guides/drivers have many stories ready to tell you during this one-hour tour.
