Madrid surprises its visitors with every step. Its streets full of buildings of a rare architectural beauty, its squares and its delightful gardens give the Spanish capital such a Latin charm that no-one can remain indifferent to it. With this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the Spanish capital from end to end without leaving out any of the main attractions of Madrid.
Visit the Almudena Cathedral, the first cathedral outside Rome to be consecrated by a Pope, or discover Los Jerónimos, one of the most spectacular churches in Madrid. In this “city of squares”, we take you to see the six main ones, with the following being of special note: Plaza Dos de Mayo, perfect for relaxing in its outdoor cafés; Plaza de La Villa, one of the main sites of medieval Madrid; and Plaza Pedro Zerolo, known for the Gay Pride festival and celebrations. You will also visit two of the most famous neighbourhoods of the Spanish capital: La Latina and Malasaña, the most alternative in Madrid. In addition, you will discover the flavours of Spanish cuisine when we visit the famous San Miguel market; the oldest restaurant in the world, Botín; and the fascinating and little-known to tourists San Antón market, with its sustainable architecture. This tour could not leave out Madrid’s most visited tourist attractions, such as Puerta del Sol square, Puerta de Alcalá gate, the Royal Palace, the fountains of Neptune and Cybele and Gran Vía Avenue. At the end, you will have the chance to relax in the Buen Retiro park and visit its fantastic crystal palace.
