The 2018 Millennial City Ranking presents the world’s most appealing cities for young people to start their life, to work or just visit. Among the 110 participating cities, Lisbon is in 18th place.

What to do?

  • Go to the highest points of Lisbon: The S. Jorge Castle is located on the highest hill and offers fabulous views of the city. Also the viewpoints – of Graça, São Pedro de Alcântara, Nossa Senhora do Monte, Portas do Sol, among others – have a unique panorama and several terraces where you can relax with your group of friends.

 

  • Play Escape The Room: It is a live escape game, in which can participate up to 10 people per group. The goal is to find a way out of the room in less than 60 minutes. Challenge your friends to indulge in this unforgettable adventure.

 

  • Walk around with a glass in your hand through Bairro Alto: Lisbon is also known for having a very lively and busy night. If you want to have a drink and have fun, head to Bairro Alto, the place with the most nightlife in the city.

 

  • Do a picnic in one of the cities park: There are dozens of green spaces in Lisbon, where you can meet friends and catch up while snacking. Among the best known are: the Valley of the Mountain, the Park Fountain of the Avencas, the Botanical Garden in the National Palace of Queluz, the Garden of Grace, the Tropical Botanical Garden and the Gulbenkian Gardens.

 

  • Book a tuk tuk tour: If you belong to that group of young people who don’t like to take great walks, we have the solution for you: a tuk tuk tour. Join up to six people and get to know the best places in the city through an eco-friendly vehicle.

 

  • Go to a music festival: Summer is approaching and with it the music festivals that animate the city. Rock in Rio, which takes place from 23th to 30th of June, and Nos Alive, 12th to 14th of July are great options for listening to good music and have fun with friends.
