Festivals and popular parties

• A Summer Story: A festival for true electronic lovers also allowing you to camp over there. The event will take place in City of Rock (Arganda del Rey), on 22^nd and 23^rd of June. It counts with the presence of recognized artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Axwell Ingrosso and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

• Rio Babel Festival: Combining national and international music, Rio Babel Festival lineup is loaded with folk-jazz, indie and reggae music. Occurring on July 6 and 7 will feature Enrique Bunbury, Molotov, Crystal Fighters, The Cat Empire and We The Lion.

• Mad Cool Festival: Between 12^th and 14^th of July the Gran Via in Madrid will host a festival for rock, pop and alternative music fans. Pearl Jam, Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys and Jack White are some of the artists that will step onto stage in Mad Cool Festival third edition.

• San Cayetano, San Lorenzo y de la Paloma Fiestas: These popular parties fill Madrid streets with color and animation. For more than 10 days of celebration (from the 2^nd to the 15^th of August), many Madrileños wear the typical outfit chulapa and go to the streets where they all listen and dance chotis (bohemian origin music). The La latina y Lavapiés neighbourhoods host several competitions, cultural activities and many other shows.

The activities

• Parque Warner: You will only need family, friends and a sunny day to have fun in this park dedicated to the world of cinema. Here you will find five themed areas with more than 100 attractions and many shows and events.

• Madrid Snowzone: If you are not a summer fan and get bored on hotter days, we have the solution for you: an indoor snow slope open 365 days a year. Have fun skiing in one of the most popular shopping centres of the Spanish capital: Xanadú.

• Fescinal: An open-air film festival that takes place between June and September, in Parque de la Bombilla. It is a great alternative to hot movie theatres and usual cafe terraces.

• Hot Air Balloon Ride: Embark on a hot air balloon journey and enjoy the beauty of Madrid from the sky. You may choose between flying over Guadarrama or Aranjuez. On both routes, you are served breakfast and get a diploma of participation.

• Tuk tuk tour: The best thing to do on the hottest days of the year is an outdoor trip. If done on a tuk tuk even better. Avoid the fatigue of walking and the heat you feel inside a car. Choose this motorized and convertible tricycle and get to know the best of the Spanish capital.
