Summer Traveling Checklist

It is almost holiday season meaning it is time to choose the destination where you are traveling to, book a place to stay and pack your traveling bag.

In the middle of all this, forgetting something can get in the way. You may end up missing flight check-in deadline time or you may forget to pack sunglasses.

In order for you to prevent this to happen, we prepared a checklist with everything you need to pack and set up for holidays before leaving the house.

One of the main things to do is to make sure you have all the information needed about the place of destiny.

Check the weather forecast, where the places you would like to visit are located, how to get around once you arrive, among others. Once you gather this information, it will be easy for you to understand what it is important to pack.

Plus, take a look at our checklist that may give you an extra hand:

Documents

This is the first subject to think about. Starting with documents you will need at the airport, whether it is upon departure or arrival. From there, move on to required documents during your stay. Make sure everything is up to date:

  1. Identity document or passport;
  2. Flight tickets printed or in digital format;
  3. Visa, if required. (click here to find out if you will need Visa);
  4. Debit or credit card;
  5. European Health Insurance Card (if you are traveling to a country that belongs to the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland) or any other insurance document (such as traveling insurance);
  6. Booking and reservations documentation.

Clothes and accessories

It is always a good idea to prepare in advance outfit looks for each day you will be out.

This will help you to remember all pieces of clothing you will need and you will be able to get ready faster thanks to previously setting up clothing looks.

Always take into consideration the weather forecast you will face on your destiny but don’t forget to bring some pieces of clothes for a change of weather conditions that may occur.

  1. Underwear and socks (for each day);
  2. Sweaters/jumpers and other tops;
  3. Bottoms: shorts and trousers;
  4. Coats;
  5. Trainers and slippers;
  6. Swimwear and/or swimsuit;
  7. Nightwear;
  8. Hat;
  9.  Sunglasses.

Personal care, toiletries, and first aid products

If you are traveling with cabin cabbage only, remember you are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. Also, besides products you use on a daily basis, pack some first aid items in case you end up needing them. Check out our list:

  1. Toothbrush and toothpaste;
  2. Cleansers and moisturizers;
  3. Deodorant;
  4. Hairbrush;
  5. Sunscreen;
  6. Tissue paper;
  7. Alcohol-based hand cleaners;
  8. Female Hygiene Products;
  9. Band-aid plasters;
  10. Antiseptic cream;
  11. Medicines for mild pain;
  12. Chapstick.

Electronic devices

Nowadays, for many of us, electronic devices are part of our daily use. It is, indeed, a fact that photographic machines, or simply a smartphone, are mandatory in order for us to capture the best holidays’ moments. Check our full electronic devices list:

  1. Cell phone;
  2. Photographic machine;
  3. Chargers (check if you will need a power adapter);
  4. Memory card;
  5. Headphones or earphones.

Lastly, make sure you will enjoy the best of your holidays’ time. You can search for leisure activities and book them before departing.

If your place of destination is Portugal or Spain, we suggest you book a fun tuk tuk tour. Live great moments with family and friends while you are exploring the most wonderful corners.
